Jameson Thermitus is a photographer specializing in fashion, portrait, and editorial photography who has worked with many public figures in Haiti including models, artists, and political leaders. He is one of the founders of Haiti Meet and Greet, an initiative bringing together professionals in photography, graphic design, filmmaking, and entrepreneurship to share knowledge and connect with agencies and magazines.
Launched with co-founders Luckner Aristide and Stephane Bazin, Haiti Meet and Greet aims to elevate the photography industry in Haiti by creating a platform for professionals to share their expertise and experiences. The initiative holds two events per year, each with different purposes, attracting photographers, models, makeup artists, and industry veterans.
Thermitus's vision for Haiti Meet and Greet is to become a movement that brings great personalities to Haiti, expands to other cities, and gives youth opportunities to explore their talents. He invites the Haitian diaspora to contribute their knowledge and expertise to help grow the creative industries in Haiti. Three words describe Haiti Meet and Greet: Knowledge, Experience, and Expertise.
