Four years ago, Jameson Thermitus began his photography career. Despite working as a webmaster, graphic designer, IT technician, and community manager for Miss Haiti, he dedicates time to photography as a way to express himself.

His passion started in school when classmates asked him to photograph events. A school leader gave him his first camera during Philosopher's Day. His videographer brother taught him professional techniques, and photographer Hugue-Robert Marsan became his mentor through a basic seminar.

Thermitus specializes in fashion photography, portraits, and weddings. He's known for innovation and ethical retouching—preserving authenticity rather than creating artificial looks. "My passion for photography guides my work," he says, using his camera to externalize his thoughts.

A graduate of Université Quisqueya in business management, Thermitus dreams of promoting Haitian talent internationally and establishing photography as a respected full profession in Haiti. His advice to young photographers: let passion, not money, be your guide.
